 Next Meeting: OCTOBER 9, at 9:00 in Room C
On Saturday, May 8th we again had a small group of Genealogists. Since we had Melanie Schoenfeld on iChat at our Macswest Friday Program, we invited her daughter Naomi to do the same with our Genealogy SIG at this meeting. Naomi was the gal who started us with this SIG several years prior to their moving to New Hampshire. She said that "since she had an in-house-guru" she was sure we could work it out. It was nothing short of fantastic. We each passed in front of the computer screen so she could be introduced to her participating 'group'. Within 40 to 45 minutes we had a presentation of Gedcom complete with Q & A. Naomi would like to make this a regular happening, so we'll look forward to more great info in the fall. This is one way to get a special person and attract many more of you. |
