Mac Basics ---------Mar. 9, 16 ,23

Class Description:The class covers, getting around on the desktop using the Menu Bar; how to customize your machine for desktop pictures, adjusting mouse, dock, sound and dashboard to your preference. There is a brief exercise with Text Edit to become familiar with fonts and using cut, copy and paste.

iPhoto CLASS--------------Mar. 10, 17, 24,31

 Class Description:  Come learn the in and outs of iPhoto 9, the image editing part of iLife 9. The four week class will cover all aspects of the program from importing images from your camera, organizing them, editing them and sharing them. The class is designed to allow participants a lot of hands on practice. Bring a laptop if you have the latest version of iLife. If not please use a club machine. 

Pre-Requisites:  Completion of Mac Basics or be proficient with the keyboard and mouse.

Keynote Class-----------March 18 &25

Class Description:  Ever wanted to give an illustrated talk (a digital presentation)?  Was it for a class, or your grandkids, or about your latest vacation?   Come and learn Mac’s amazing presentation program, Keynote.  The two-week class will cover how to organize your thoughts, choose a layout, mix images with music and even a video clip or two.  It will even teach you how to convert Power Point presentations to the “more spectacular” Keynote ones.  This will be hands-on learning.  You may bring your own laptop, if you have iWorks with Keynote.

Requirement:  Bring a Flash (or Thumb) Drive--to take home handouts and instructions.  Be ready to have fun--so bring your sense of humor.

Class Description: 

The objective of this course is to assist the participants in learning additional functions of Photoshop Elements 7. This course consists of four two hour lessons, There will be a handout for each class session
